Well with all this money arriving from such a salubrious lot there’s not much else that needs saying other than a huge thanks to all of you for being so generous.

A big thanks to all of you that turned out to see my knobbly knees during the Baton Relay. (Especially well done to Nutty Nige for not taking no for an answer!).

You will be pleased to know that the line of 7’s completely ruined their plans and the whole of the Arundel leg had to be moved a further 150 or so yards along the A27.  Bit of a downer as I trotted up to lamp-post 15 (my intended finish point) only to find the wee slip of a girl I had been allocated to protect the Baton, carry on for what seemed to be bloody miles.  Even more of a downer when she said she had already run every alternate leg of the relay since the Baton got back to the UK, but luckily for her the Saturday I ran was a short one for her as she only had 20 miles to do that day!!  Ho hum.  I suppose the photos Mr. Sweeney took will surprise me with their appearance in Low Flying.  Hopefully Roger will decide that in this instance discretion IS the better part of valour.

With 6 months left of this year we only need £1001.06 to hit £130K but I’ve got a sneaking feeling that Arnie ain’t finished yet by a long shot so watch this space!!

Oh and please note I’ve moved again!
