What a nerve-wracking experience for both the Clash of the Titan protagonists, not only did they risk their wee beasties but their reputations to boot.  As far as I’m concerned they are both top geezers and there was no loser. The fact that Peter took the laurels by less than half a second means that Arnie will be well up for another bout and I’m sure they are both considering their next move…

Come on guys 'n' gals, only another 44 quid and Barbara’s Blatchat stickers will top the grand! Give her a ring and order a pack today on 01283 791877 or email your order on b.swift@btopenworld.com

This can’t be the last of Stoneleigh as we know it surely?  I reckon we all need to let Kay and Ken know that they and their team are just the tops at organising the event and they must keep going in the superb manner we have all become so accustomed!  Take a bow both of you, you always set the scene for the rest of the season's events.

Don’t forget the 22nd June in Arundel, your opportunity to see me in a pair of shorts and white socks wielding the Queen’s Jubilee Baton in the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay, and if you can’t be one of the 250 7’s attending then just send me a fiver anyway!
