December sees a great flurry of activity with cheques arriving
nearly every day. A superb effort for a last push with over a £1100 received. Brilliant!
Even Lizzie’s hens have had a last push!
Don’t forget Gift Aid for a single donation by an individual
of £250 or more. Filling out a gift aid form allows the charity to claim back the income
tax paid which is worth about a third of the donation!! Can’t seem to find any rules
to the contrary if cash donations collected are ‘passed’ through ones bank
account though!…….hmmmmm.
Is
anyone hanging onto any of Alex’s sponsorship money? Get it collected and
handed in, there’s good chappies!

I know, but I’ve been thinking……… 1999 is in fact the 999th
year of this millennium not the 1000th. So if we don’t get the 100K in the
next 8 days, (as I write this it’s the 30th Dec.) we’ve got the whole
of next year to do it. Wicked eh? Gives us another year to go!
