NUKE THE LEUK ’99

Millennium Target £100,000

To date: …. …. …. ….. .. . .. .. .. . .. . .. .. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... £933.97

Lap 5 contd.

Surrey Area – a two pronged assault on the target:
Tony Isherwood’s Caterham Factory tour, donations collected from Caterham Cars and Surrey 'n' Sussex members attending 90.00
Brooklands Handling Day, entrances and donations 390.00
Trafalgar Properties, hire fee reduction donation 110.00
500.00 500.00
7 Challenge Ltd / Lotus 7 Club Track Day, Cadwell Park

Mr. Cranage, cancelled entry fee donation 120.00
360.00 360.00
££ 1883.37

Please correct me if the name or circumstances are incorrect but I understand Mr. Cranage was unable to take up his entry at Cadwell due to the illness of his daughter who has been diagnosed with leukaemia? I sincerely hope this understanding is incorrect but if not, you have the best wishes and support of all club members involved with our Nuke the Leuk efforts over the years as well as those amongst us that have actually nuked it and got the tee shirt!

Come on now get those fivers off to The 7 Challenge Ltd post haste. The raffle is being drawn on Saturday 14th August 1999 at Silverstone and time is of the essence.

One last thing, has anyone sent any money direct to LRF as a result of Club fundraising? If you have, and even if reported in Low Flying, unless I am informed about it with who, what, when and how much, it will not get counted nor reported in the Club year to date totals. To report and claim the amounts in our total I have to see the proof. I know we all went direct with the Car the Club Built Project but that was a one off, large enough for LRF to set up a specific reporting function for us but would be difficult to operate for our regular fund-raising of a more general nature.

Left to get for the target:

£13203.63

Cheques payable to "Leukaemia Research Fund" please ..and send to:
