Another brilliant year from you luvverly lot - nearly nine grand!! - have we finished yet for 1998?  Unbelievable when you consider the amount of work and effort put in by everyone on the CtCB project.  Blinding!

I note that there have been several articles written about events that have tken place during 1998 where money has been raised for NtL.  However they won't show up on my monthly report 'coz I can't report what I don't know about.   If the cash has been passed to a LRF branch, fine, but I need sight of a copy of the receipt issued by the branch in question.  This is for two reasons, firstly, I need confirmation of the exact amount and proof that has been handed over so that I can report fact, and secondly, I need to advise LRF that we raised the money (in order to count it in our total), but that it has been handed to branch, so that Great Ormond Street don't count it twice.  Any money collected by a LRF branch goes towards their own area target, they don't need to explain to LRF from whence it came.  Sufficient eoungh that they collected it.

Now a belated Happy New Year to everyone and an apology for being so elusive of late, but we've sold the house and unfortunately, I had problems with the lease on my new flat which prevented the purchase from completing.  Sorry the mobile is so iffy but there is a very poor signal on all networks in the area I'm working in at the moment - Orange seem to be the best - I only have to be over 30 ft tall!   Bloody waste of space, all of them !!
