Hoopy...

Dave Hooper joins the ranks of those select club members prepared to run the London Marathon for LRF. This year it's on Sunday 13th April and Hoopy has been accepted by the marathon team to represent the Leukaemia Research Fund and I'm sure everyone wishes Dave all the very best with his endeavour. Good luck mate!

Sponsor forms will be in Low Flying next month but download one here and get started getting those sponsors signed up and let's make his effort worth while.

Series 1 Restoration...

200303classics.jpg (200762 bytes)In this month's "Classics" magazine, there's a nice article describing the restoration of Lotus Seven Registrar and Historian, John Watson's 1959 series 1.  Well worth a look for the pictures alone (well, some of the pictures anyway)

A Plug...

A couple of years ago, I was involved with Paul Harvey's teams of racers at the 24hr Nürburgring when we ran VX and Blackbird powered cars quite successfully.  The team who shared our pit box and were running the Caterham Cars works entries at those races (and indeed who ran last year's car that finished in an incredible 11th place!) were Team Parker Racing, who have kindly put up a page all about the Club on their site.  Go check it out.

Blatchat...

Following the 10th consecutive FTSE drop, the Government have intervened and asked me to take Blatchat down, will you please all take a couple of aspirins, get back to work and get the economy going again.

Actually the server that Blatchat is on appears to have been hit with the SQL Slammer virus.  No, I don't know how this happened.  Yes I am in touch with the ISP to try to get it sorted.
