To quote this month's issue of Circuit News:- "Caterham - www.lotus7club.co.uk" "The best site amongst the owners clubs for those with track day interests. 29^th November 1999	Competition Classes.... As further evidence of some of the behind the scenes work taking place recently, Alex Wong has obviously been a busy chappie, sorting out the classes that will be used in our sprints and hillclimbs. Go and have a look, and send your comments to Alex please, or via the feedback page.
28^th November 1999	Important There has been a lot of work both in front of and behind the scenes to make this Club what it is today. Further evidence of the behind the scenes work can be seen in the Management Team's decision to create a limited company in order to protect the members from any potential liability. Roger Swift, the Club Chairman, has written to every member to inform them of this decision. This letter has been sent initially (purely from a logistical point of view) to those members who renew their memberships in January, those who joined part way through this year and therefore do not renew until later into next year will get their letters shortly.
28^th November 1999	Legend of the Lotus Seven.. You may remember that Scott O'Hara wrote to me about this book being reprinted. Well he's written again; "Dear Barry, Classic Motor Books has sent me Legend of the Lotus Seven. I am very pleased with the prompt service I have received from CMB, considering that this book was on back order at the time of my order." Thanks for the update Scott, hope you enjoy the book, I did.
27^th November 1999	Fundraising Warning..... Steve Winterberg read about some potential problems for fundraisers, and dropped me this reminder. If you raise money for charity, or are involved in raising money for charity, it's worth a look.

15^th November 1999	Autotesting.... We're thinking about setting up an autotest of some description in the future, but we're not sure exactly what is required. If you have any experience of taking part or organising an autotest, please get in touch, we need your advice.

15^th November 1999	Gaming... You may remember that some time ago I mentioned Infogames Test Drive 6, a new game that features sevens (and a six!). I subscribed to their mailing list and they've just sent me this, which announces the Sony Playstation version, hopefully the others will be along soon. If you get a copy of this, how about doing me a review from the 6/Seven/21 perspective?

2^nd November 1999	Legend of the Lotus Seven... Scott O'Hara wrote to me to tell me that Dennis Ortenburger's great book 'Legend of the Lotus Seven' is in print again, and available from Classic Motorbooks. We've been having a bit of a chat about it 'cos I couldn't find it on their site, since then he's mailed me this, I'll keep you posted.
30^th October 1999	Invitation... ...Club members have been invited to attend a lecture at Coventry Univerity by Jez Coates, the subject - Engineering Design and Development of the Caterham 7 and Superlight R500 I just wish I could get there :-(
30^th October 1999	Congratulations... ...Mr and Mrs Low Flying, Roy and Jo Blyth, have just become parents again with the arrival of a little boy, Christopher, on the night of Wednesday 20^th. Many congratulations and best wishes to you all.

14^th October 1999	Winter Storage A question over in BlatChat has prompted David Mirylees to send me a copy of his article on the same subject that was published in Low Flying on more than one occasion in the past. 9^th October 1999	Track Time You may have noticed from the last issue of Low Flying, that Paul Kite has been appointed as Caterham Cars' events co-ordinator, operating out of the Caterham Sales office. Paul has some places available on a track day at Silverstone on 17th October - £100 each for Club members, call him at the sales office on 07000 000077
9^th October 1999	L7CoGB on Sony Stand at "Japan Electronics Show 1999" update I've had some photos from the show, many thanks to Masahiro Tsunoda for these.

2^nd October 1999	L7CoGB on Sony Stand at "Japan Electronics Show 1999" Paul Fleetwood and John Watson (Lotus 7 Club historian) are flying off to Tokyo to work on the Sony Stand at the Japan Electronics Show 1999. Their task is to disassemble and re-assemble a 40^th Anniversary Caterham Seven 1700 Supersprint. The show is open to the public 10.00 to 17.00 Wednesday 6^th to Saturday 9^th of October inclusive. Paul and John would be grateful if any Seven enthusiasts visiting the show would make themselves known.
2^nd October 1999	Test Drive 6 Earlier this year, Accolade announced a new game called Test Drive 6, that would feature, amongst others, a Caterham 7 and 21. Although the announcement was made in May, it did say that the game would be out in Autumn, so keep a look out for it.
